Meet Kate

Kate is experienced in the assessment, treatment and management of scars and oedema following traumatic injuries, burns and surgery.

She graduated from the University of Queensland in 2012 with a degree in Occupational Therapy. Prior to joining Scar Care, she worked as a private hand therapist, specialising in hand and upper limb rehabilitation, wound care and scar management.

She has also worked at Queensland Children’s Hospital, providing care to paediatric patients requiring burns, plastics, orthopaedic, hand therapy and intensive care involvement. This experience fostered a strong interest in scar management and rehabilitation following complex injuries.
